Participation in the 75th INTOSAI Governing Board Meeting
On November 23, 2021, the 75th Governing Board Meeting of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) was held online. President MORITA from the Board of Audit of Japan participated in the meeting.
The Board of Audit of Japan has been elected by the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) and has served as a member of the Governing Board of INTOSAI since 2013.
The Governing Board meets once a year. The mandate of the Governing Board includes revising and approving INTOSAI strategic plans, deciding on whether to grant admission to a Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) wishing to join INTOSAI, and approving annual budgets.
At the meeting, the activities were reported in line with the INTOSAI Strategic Plan 2017-2022.
